Summarizing
Summarizing is the skill of stating, in capsule form, what has been said over a longer period of time (usually 20 minutes to one hour). Exact words are not as important in a summary as the meaning or outcome of what has been said.

Application Activity: Request a colleague you are working with to send you a Goal or Task from the LeadershipGenius App. During your next One on One meeting with them, after asking directive or supportive questions, focus on Summarizing how the individual is feeling about the goal or task they are working on. Make sure to take and review any notes or action items you heard or discussed during the meeting.
